LOTTERY MONEY AWARDED TO MFTM

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded some funding from the National Lottery Community Fund. We have decided to spend this money on a project called ‘Connections’. We can help in the following two ways;

1. We can pay for the support of a Personal Assistant with accreditation from East Sussex County Council to either help someone join us online or attend our face to face sessions when we are allowed to return safely.

2. We can loan a computer tablet and at no cost, to someone who joins us on our Monday singing sessions if they do not have access to a computer or are unable to attend face to face sessions when we are allowed to return safely.

If  you would like more information on or know of someone who may be interested in the above please contact us at musicftmemory@gmail.com or contact  Anne on 07771994389

NOTICE

If you would like to join us please email musicftmemory@gmail.com and we will give you the meeting information.

***** IMPORTANT NEWS *****

It is with heavy hearts that the Trustees have decided that due to the increase in the spread of Covid-19 (coronavirus) throughout the country

WE WILL BE SUSPENDING ALL SESSIONS OF MUSIC FOR THE MEMORY WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

I am sure you will agree with us that the safety and health of all our members be it loved ones, carers or volunteer staff must come first especially since our demographic is mainly, for all intents and purposes, the elderly and vulnerable.

Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you back with us soon.

During this period we are planning on hosting virtual singing sessions. Stay tuned for more details.

With kindest regards,

Louise, Tricia and Jackie

Huge news!

Waitrose have chosen MFTM to be one of their March Community Matters boxes in their Eastbourne (High Street) branch.  This means the more green tokens that are put in our box by you and other shoppers (there will be 2 other charities that are being supported at the same time), the bigger the share of £1000 we get at the end of the month.

Please spread the word and even if you buy a pint of milk, take one of the tokens and drop it in our box at the end of the checkouts.

We are very pleased to announce that we are starting up a new group on Friday afternoons in Cross in Hand.
